Myths of Femininity

My recent sculptural work has focused on using draped ceramic forms that are a metaphor for flesh, spirituality and the human experience. I also carve and mould, in clay, the contrasting textures of wood and bone. In the Myths of the Feminine Series I use draped ceramic forms with a playful pop of colour representing stereotypes of womanhood, ambiguity and duality, spirit and flesh, concealment and exposure.
